Using a 1/4″ seam, sew (2) HSTs and a 2 5/8″ triangle into a row. Press seams toward triangle.

Using a 1/4″ seam, sew an HST and a 2 5/8″ triangle into a row. Press seams toward the HST.

Nesting seams, sew rows together with an additional 2 5/8″ triangle into a 6 7/8″ triangle. Press seams open.

Being careful with the long bias edges, use a 1/4″ seam to sew the 6 7/8″ triangle sub-block to the remaining 6 7/8″ triangle.

The finished Anvil Block should measure 6 1/2″ square.
