It’s always an exciting time of year when we’re working on the next year’s planner, and we can’t wait to share all that’s in store for the 2022 Quilter’s Planner!

What can we look forward to in the 2022 Quilter’s Planner?
As always, we are working with the best designers in the industry to bring you a wonderful selection of quilts and projects that will be included in the 2022 Quilter’s Planner. We have 4 full size quilts, a couple of baby quilts and a couple of other projects, so there’s really something for everyone. Some of our designers have their own fabric collections coming out, so they will be featuring their new fabrics, and some projects are using scraps; we’re really embracing the ‘use what you have’ ethos as well this year.
Lorinda famously also loves rainbows, so there’s going to be lots of rainbows…it’s going to be colorful!
Our designers are working hard to get the quilts made and patterns written, ready to send off to Kitty Wilkin (@nightquilter) who always perfectly captures the projects against the most beautiful natural landscapes. This production stage is so fun and exciting.
Is there going to be a Block of the Month next year?
Lorinda has been working with a fabulous designer and the BOM is happening! Here’s just a tiny sneak peek…and yes it does include lots of colorful Tula Pink fabrics! We can’t wait to share more soon.
Tell us more about the Design Book.
The Design Book is available all year round, and includes all the awesome features of the planner, including the dot and grid pages, graph pages, and the reference section. It just doesn’t include the diary/calendar pages or patterns. (Check out the Design Book blog post here for more info!) It’s available all year round in the online shop, and is a great way to keep all your thoughts, designs, ideas and sketches in one place. You can choose from a selection of 10 covers, so you can customise it to suit your style. It really is a must have for all quilters who love to play with quilt design!
Is the 2021 Quilter’s Planner available to purchase?
At the beginning of 2021 we were still in the thick of the pandemic and people perhaps weren’t ready to commit to purchasing a planner. So we’ve taken the decision to open up the store for the month of May for the chance to purchase one at a discounted rate. We wanted everyone to have one last opportunity to get their hands on one. The accessories and the design book will still be available all year round.
Will there be any new accessories coming soon?
We all love planner accessories, and editor Lorinda loves washi tape and stickers! There’s a few details to iron out before things can be confirmed, but let’s just say watch this space… 🙂
