This block tutorial shows how to make the Snowball block as shown in the 2019 Quilter’s Planner.
Snowball Block
Number of Fabrics: 2 | Number of Pieces: 5
(1) 6 1/2″ square
(4) 2 1/2″ squares
Piecing
Referring to the “Flying Geese: Rectangle and Two Squares Method” instructions in the Reference section of your Quilter’s Planner, sew on the diagonal of a 2 1/2″ square in each corner of the block. Trim and press toward the triangle.
The finished Snowball Block should measure 6 1/2″ square.
